Terms of Use for Two Notes

Latest update: August 14, 2026

Who these terms are with

Two Notes: Ear Training Game ("the app") is published by CWTI Ltd, 24 Tax Suite 137b Westlink House 981 Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9DN, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you accept these terms.

These terms cover the app itself. The store you installed from — Google Play or the App Store — has its own terms with you, and those govern the payment, the refund and the account. On iOS, the app is also licensed under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms and with the rules of the store you installed from.

You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, remove its notices, or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law gives you that right regardless of what a contract says.

What the app does

Two Notes plays two notes and asks you to name the distance between them. It keeps your rating, your streak, your rivals and your history on your device. There is no account and no server of ours. The Privacy Policy explains what is stored and what leaves the device.

Free use, advertising and Pro

The game is playable in full without paying and without watching a single advertisement. One optional rewarded video grants an extra life if you choose to watch it.

Pro is sold in two forms:

  • Weekly subscription. It renews automatically each week until you cancel. The price and the currency shown in the app at the moment of purchase are the ones that apply.
  • Lifetime unlock. A single payment, with no renewal. "Lifetime" means the working life of the app on the stores where you bought it. It is not a promise that the app will be published forever.

Billing and renewal

Payment is taken by the store, not by us. A subscription renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. We never see or hold your card details.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time in your store account: Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, or App Store → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you have paid for runs to its end.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, because the store took the payment. If you believe something went wrong with a purchase, write to us and we will help you put the request to the right place.

Restoring a purchase

Use "Restore purchase" in the app to bring Pro back after a reinstall or on a new device signed in to the same store account. A purchase made on one store cannot be restored on the other.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app unlawfully, do not interfere with it, and do not try to obtain Pro without paying for it.

Changes to the app and to these terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the app. We may update these terms; the updated version is posted on this page with a new update date. If a change matters to a purchase you have already made, the terms in force when you bought apply to that purchase.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suited to a particular purpose. Two Notes is an ear-training game; it is not a substitute for tuition and it makes no promise about the musical results you will get.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing here takes those away.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
