This page explains how to delete your account in Free Kindle Books - Ebooks, published by CWTI Ltd, and exactly what is deleted when you do.

Delete your account from the app

Open Free Kindle Books - Ebooks on your Android device.
Open the menu (the ☰ button at the top left) and tap Settings.
Find the Account card. It shows the Google address you signed in with.
Tap Delete account.
A confirmation dialog lists what will be removed. Tap Delete account again to confirm, or Cancel to keep everything.

The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. When it finishes, the app signs you out and keeps working as a signed-out reader.

If you do not see the Delete account button, you are not signed in — the app is usable without an account, and there is nothing to delete. You can simply uninstall the app.

What is deleted

Your account itself, including the sign-in link to your Google address.
Your saved favorites.
The authors you follow and the categories you follow.
Your reading preferences, including any categories chosen during onboarding.
Your notification settings and the record of the devices registered to receive alerts.
The link between your app installation and your account.

What is not deleted

Anonymous, aggregated counters. The app counts how many people showed interest in a given book, to order its shelves. These counters are per book, not per person: they contain no identifier of yours and cannot be traced back to you, so they are not removed.
Anything on Amazon. Books you opened, bought or downloaded live in your Amazon account, which is separate and not ours to touch. Use Amazon's own tools for that.
Backups and logs may retain traces for a short period before they expire on their normal schedule. Nothing in them is used to rebuild a deleted account.

Write to privacy@ivanmorgillo.com from the email address you signed in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. Using the same address is what lets us confirm the request is yours; we cannot delete an account on the word of someone we cannot identify. We answer within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
